Megan Fox is an American actress and model, perhaps best known for her roles on the television series Hope & Faith and in the 2007 film Transformers. Fox was born in Rockwood, Tennessee, and has Irish, French, and Native American ancestry. She grew up in a "very poor" household and has one older sister.
Fox began her training in drama and dance at the age of 5. At age 10, after moving to Port Saint Lucie, Florida, Fox continued her training, Port Saint Lucie also being where Fox finished her highschool education. She then moved back to Tennessee and lived in Oak Ridge, Tennessee for 6 months before starting her acting career.
